Traditional Japanese cuisine, washoku 和食, is based on rice with miso soup and other dishes. Side dishes usually consist of fish, pickles vegetables, clear broth. Seafood can be either Sushi, Sashimi, or deep fried as in tempura. Noodles like ramen, soba and udon are also very common daily dishes.
